So if we were to change:

    x86   ->  stack
    ppc   ->  register

... would we also want to change:

    -DVA_TYPE_X86   -> -DVA_TYPE_STACK
    -DVA_TYPE_PPC   -> -DVA_TYPE_REGISTER

?
