Actually, the twentyfirst century starts on 1 Jan, 2001. Every century
has 100 years. The first one started with the year 1 and continued to
the year 100. The second started with the year 101 and ended with the
year 200. The twentieth century is the same. It started in the year 1901
and ends in 2000. The twenty-first century starts in the year 2001.
