Those look an awful like drugstore beetles to me.  When you say they were 
infesting a wooden object, were they actually boring through the wood?  Did you 
see shot holes (tiny, perfectly round exit holes)?  What was the object - was 
it a piece of furniture, was it just wood or were there other materials used in 
the object?

Hi all,

These were found infesting a wooden object and they don't seem the usual 
suspects (anobium, powderpost, etc)  Any ID help would be appreciated.
