I checked out the Diamond Disk that has been the subject of discussion and though to myself that I'd seen something like that before. I dug out my bible (first edition of Tinfoil to Stereo) and found a photo on plate IX which shows a Diamond Disk equipped with a "Loud Speaking Attachment". It is similar but not exactly the same as the one on ebay. The ebay machine shows a typical #11 cygnet horn and elbow used on the Diamond Disk. The example in the book shows a Music Master bell attached to a unique elbow which in turn is attached to the machine. I don't know if the "Loud Speaking Attachment" was ever offered to the public but one machine was made. Does anyone know? Thanks, Jerry B.

Also the nice gold finish on the horn support is exactly the same as the reproducer and looks to good to be an expiremental machine. The decals on the horn are cheap reproductions. My opinion is that it is a frankenphone.
