We are using the same Php version on a Suse 7.2 System. Sometimes we also have this problem. We use typo3 as Cms System and the error occurs sometimes on several Typo3 Installations. Typo3 stores some html code in the database for caching and sometimes the data is not parsed after reading from the database and published to the client. After clearing the table, every thing works fine again... After they have upgraded php to 4.1.2, I'm having problems with stripslashes randomly not working.
