I have had a look at this problem for you. It is a tricky on to solve. There is some code which fixes a problem with the hierarchy of todo items being lost, but this fix breaks sorting. The fix has been there for a long time. I think it is best that we leave it for the 0.9.18 release to fix this problem. If you want a hack to solve the problem, you could try ediing the code yourself. todo/inc/class.so.inc.php about line 161 should look like } if (is_array($todos)) { return $this->keephierarchy($todos); } else { return $todos; } change it to } //hack from skwashd to fix sorting, but breaks hierarchy return $todos; if (is_array($todos)) { return $this->keephierarchy($todos); } else { return $todos; } I hope this does what you need.
