Hi,

This feature has already been asked for: see
https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=Pine.LNX.4.58.0703221904090.6763%40gaston.pm
and
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1679902&group_id=61828&atid=498549

However, the suggested modification of login.php is no more valid as its
code has changed :-)

So, I just ask if there is a "simple" way to silently offer users to
login using login_attr or its dn.
That is (maybe depending on a configuration variable
$ldapservers->SetValue(0,'login','fallback_dn','no/yes' as suggested by
Peter Münster), could pla make 2 tests with the login/login_pass form
variables ?

Don't know how much work that requires :-/

thanks

PS: that would be really convenient as admin are often outside of the
users ldap branch aren't they ? and two differents configs for the same
server is really not nice looking...
