I said in an earlier post that PLA only finds users by an anonymous
query (when logging in with an attribute based login). This is actually
not right - I was wrong :-|

In previous releases, if you login using attribute based login (as
opposed to a DN based login) and if your LDAP server didnt allow
anonymous queries (to find the DN using the attribute and values
presented on the login form), you could specify a "privileged DN" in the
login_dn/login_pass fields in config.php, and these details would be
used to bind and find the user's details.

I've just fixed that in 1.2.x, and will be available 1.2.0.2, I'll also
update the wiki accordingly :)
