Hi Deon,
Thanks for replying, I found that info when googling before I posted and
in my case that's not the problem, my ldap.conf:
#
# LDAP Defaults
#
# See ldap.conf(5) for details
# This file should be world readable but not world writable.
#BASE dc=example, dc=com
#URI ldap://ldap.example.com ldap://ldap-master.example.com:666
#SIZELIMIT 12
#TIMELIMIT 15
#DEREF neve
It seems that there is something else which prevents phpldapadmin from
working correctly with an empty basedn. Clients such as Apache Directory
Studio don't seem to have any problems connecting and discovering the
empty basedn though.
Do you know of anyone that has phpldapadmin working with openldap with
an empty basedn?
Regards
Jarl

Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval
Try the new software tools for yourself. Speed compiling, find bugs
proactively, and fine-tune applications for parallel performance.
See why Intel Parallel Studio got high marks during beta.
