Actually, I kind of like the Hammer projection better. http://www.soest.hawaii.edu/gmt/gmt/doc/html/GMT_Docs/node98.html It has something more "pinholy" to me, I can't figure out why. Perhaps all that empty Pacific ocean space making up the center of the map... But I suppose that Jean will feel a bit shoved to the fringe with this map... -:)) Guy
