Hi Taylor, Sorry that you are experiencing pain with installing PyMVPA on a proprietary OS. Unfortunately we do not have Snow Leopard available to troubleshoot installation, so I am suggesting either
1. check macports bug tracking to find issues alike e.g. https://svn.macports.org/ticket/23859 or file a new issue. Whenever filing a new issue or commenting on existing include more information around the failure point -- may be preceeding lines provide more clues 2. Just forget about macports, install Debian virtual machine with PyMVPA (and other 80000 packages) available to you within 1-20 seconds depending on your bandwidth (Debian is binary distribution, so no waiting of ours for things to build is necessary). For instructions and initial NeuroDebian-powered Debian virtual machine image see: http://neuro.debian.net/vm.html On Wed, 21 Jul 2010, Taylor Beck wrote: > hi PyMVPA experts > I'm new to PyMVPA and have had difficulty installing it on my Macbook > Pro (10.6.3 Snow Leopard OS).
