Alan, I've had a quick test, and I confirm your results. I have also taken a look at the code and from what I can understand there seems to be no effort to apply any transformation to the clip region. Looking at the other drivers (including cairo) this seems wrong. Unfortunately all the drivers do these things in different ways so it is hard to tell exactly what the qt driver _should_ do. I'll try to delve further, but this make take some effort. Note to anyone else investigating, this clipping code is in bindings/qt/plqt.cpp NOT in drivers/qt.cpp.
