But I disgress.
Jijo, maybe we should encourage the newbies to archive their mail.
I have almost everything from Linux99 to the old PLUG on CD.
I use a simple script very much like "info" that searches the mailboxes,
extracts the line number and feeds the whole thing to vim.
Other times, I use netscape's search mailbox menu.
Either way, I have two years worth of ideas and answers at my
fingertips.
At times, I also get a laugh or two reading the old threads.
I haven't done this before, so I'd want to thank everyone on PLUG who've
contributed a piece of their minds over time.
Many times, I found the answer to a question faster in the archive than
on google, (and before google, deja).
I don't know if it's a good idea, but if we can place the list archives
on CD, would anyone buy it?
