hi jerome,
when using a GUI for server configuration and it works
well, then good for you. however, there are instances
wherein you don't really know what's happening "under the
hood"...for instance, one of our RH Linux servers here has
a GUI-based Apache configuration tool (don't remember what
it is but it's stock with RH 7.1) and the resulting
httpd.conf file has a lot of blanks and spaces! i find it
hard to manually edit that file 8)
