Hi Rene, it smells like the MySQL plugin writer process is unable to write down all the tuples by the time in which a new writer is spawned.
This should reveal an non-optimal setting of either "aggregate" or "sql_refresh_time" directives. This is easily caused by either the specs of the box on which pmacct is running not being adequate or the traffic profile (packets per second, average bytes per packet). Can you post your config? Also, can you indicate the specs of the box running pmacct and describe the kind of traffic travelling onto the segment? Quick fixes could be: - build larger traffic aggregates by stripping primitives from the "aggregate" directive. - tune the "sql_refresh_time" to a longer or smaller value mostly depending on the one currently configured. A value between 60-120 seconds is generally OK. Larger values are particularly suited to support specific configurations.
