Hi Declan,

As has earlier been reported, the Canadian Supreme Court heard arguments on
Dec. 3 in the much-anticipated "Tariff 22" case that addressed the prospect
of a new tariff for music online. The court focused on both questions of the
applicability of the tariff to sites located outside of Canada as well as
the impact of caching on copyright law.

I've posted my blog of the hearing here http://www.lexinformatica.org.

The judicial review by the Federal Court of Appeals can be found here

Board decision here http://www.cb-cda.gc.ca/decisions/m27101999-b.pdf [PDF]
