Theory being covered in the mainstream press (in light of the latest
release of the Pentagon video): the fact they had to acknowledge
the existence of alternative theories and the community which
supports them.
How many years now has the mainstream press not only ignored any
theories that deviated from the official 911 story, but pretended
that the alternative movement didn't even exist?
Even though I'm not on their side of the debate, I consider the fact
that CNN had a discussion about the No Plane Theory in a prime-time
slot a major breakthrough. It puts the alternative media at an
advantage now. Bringing this discussion (even when trying to quash
it) into the mainstream media will undoubtedly spark more curiosity
and debate. (And even better, maybe it will give those who haven't
bought the official story all along some sense of justification for
seeking out the truth.)
Incidentally, for all the mocking and scoffing I knew would be
accompanied by this debate, I was surprised to actually hear praise
of the No Plane documentariesĀthings like "credible," "extremely
convincing," and "thorough." I think that's a good thing for all
those looking to open up some minds.
