Only now, gnome has patches in flight to move to mozjs31. So I should
probably roll another patch set for mozjs31 (or 38) depending on where
they land. Since the goal is to cut down on the number of legacy mozjs
versions the distro's are shipping.

Do you want the mozjs24 porting patches pushed to master now?  I haven't
looked at 31/38 but I'd imagine the relative diff is smaller porting from 24 
for those.

Yes, moving forward to mozjs24 remains a good medium term plan. Primary because js 1.8.5 and mozjs17 need to go. The motivating reason for part of this has to do with how many versions of mozjs need to be maintained (particularly for 48 & 52bit VA). Since intel is now expanding the x86-64 VA as well, I suspect they will start to care too.
