Hi Makarius,

Right now the listings are only good to tell users of SML/NJ and MLton
about Poly/ML, which is a worthy cause, but a large audience of
functional programming enthusiasts may still be entirely unaware of
StandardML at all (let's admit it, it's not one of the languages
everyone is talking about).

Looks like many languages that have standards have their own entries on
alternativeto (e.g. C++), I think it's a good idea to add an entry for
StandardML itself, mention the implementation there, and suggest it as
an alternative to other typed functional languages at least.
