Sorry, the RELEASE_NOTES don't discuss undocumented behavior. If they don't want to stop Postfix, the safe method is to import Postfix queue files from elsewhere into the HOLD queue, assuming that there is no other file activity in that queue, followed by repeated use of "postsuper hold" and finally "postsuper -r". Wietse
