I presume that what you want is i th level inside dimension n, which is not
exactly what is dimension n.
There are obvious changes for quad IO, and no check for validity.
z assign A get V
(i q) assign a
z assign execute 'V[',(((q-1)rho';'),(format i),((rho rho V)-q)rho';'),']'
I do not claim 'pretty', nor that I couldn't do better, but this works, and did
not take me
long to construct.
