In the current version, the user library is saved a subdirectory of your home directory.
When I start vergil from the command line it says:

Opening user library C:\Documents and Settings\neuendor\.ptolemyII\user library.xml... Done

previously, I believe the file was saved in your home directory, so one way to get this to work is to
edit the above xml file directly.

A 'nicer' way to operate on this would be to open the user library directly as an editable model,
and to modify the version there, and then save it... This is essentially what "save in library" does, except that
there is currently no way to open the library without saving something into it... It has been on the
'to do' list for some time to build some library management facility, but nobody has stepped up to the
plate on it... I'll see about adding a button to just open the library, however....

I've saved a composite actor in my User Library and now I want to update it
with some changes. When I try saving over the existing actor using Graph,
Save in Library, I get the error message:

"Save in Library failed: An object already exists in the user library with
name ..."

Also, I've tried to find where the user library is stored on my computer and
delete the old version of the actor directly, but have not been able to
locate the directory
the User Library is stored in.

What's procedure to update actors in the User Library?

Thanks for your help!
