A novel way to get your money is for a company to overcharge on your credit card purchase, then send you a notice to say you are in credit (notice that the money is not returned to your account, it remains with them).

This has happened to a person who is now "in credit" to Foxtel but in debit to his bank and he would like to know how many others have "credit" with Foxtel.  Of course Foxtel overcharged because the initial payment was late and of course it was the persons fault that the initial payment was late due to the fact that he had paid by credit card!!  Needless to say the phone went dead when the Foxtel representative was questioned/quizzed on the matter.
