I have a Logitech "QC 3000 for Business" webcam. When I plug it into my USB
port, the Sound Preferences Dialog doesn't properly display the name of the
camera. Instead, the string "09a5 analog mono" is displayed.
I remember reading some message in the mailing list where the suggestion was to
submit the true device string to someplace, but that is as much as I remember.
Can anyone clear things up?
