#813: Adobe Air trouble ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Reporter: phaoost | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: closed Milestone: | Component: core Resolution: invalid | Keywords: Adobe Air ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Changes (by coling):
* status: new => closed * resolution: => invalid Comment: This sounds like the Adobe Air runtime is hogging the sound device by not following alsa guidelines and using the "default" device (which should be configured to PulseAudio. This would hog the hardware and prevent PA from being able to open it. The sink should be listed as "suspended" in the {{{pacmd ls}}} output. If this is the case then it's very much not a PA problem but a problem of Adobe Air runtime configuration or coding and there is very little we can do about it. That said, you've provided very little in the way of details so I'm not 100% sure of this analysis. For this kind of vague issue, it's generally more appropriate to discuss it on mailing lists or IRC rather than submit a bug report without any detail. Therefore if you want to discuss your problem further, I suggest using those mediums initially before either reopening or creating a new, and much more detailed, bug report if appropriate. -- Ticket URL: <http://pulseaudio.org/ticket/813#comment:2> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
