As I've been browsing this list and it seems that at the end of last
year it's been realized the new QuickCam Orbit MPs do have a different
hw there as earlier ...
Now, can anybody shed some light where we're standing now ? I'm running
AMD64 Ubuntu with 2.6.15 standard kernel and tried the last "official"
pwc 10.0.11 as well as the latest (to date) snapshot
pwc-v4l2-20060329-042701. Both give similar results i.e. the driver
loads nicely, but the camera isn't recognized, nor dev/video0 is
registered.
So, any hints about progress with this ?
