I have had trouble using my 900NC with Kopete. It seems to work sometimes, but usually doesn't. I haven't quite figured out why, or when, it does work, but I have a feeling that the time I did have it working, it might actually have been using the gspca driver rather than the pwc driver (I had both installed as I had two webcams on the same machine). Though the gspca driver doesn't actually claim to work with the 900NC as far as I know.
I may do some more tests to find out for sure.
