hi my impression is, that when it comes to manufacturer specifications of webcams, many of them are just lies (or at least they try to hide the real information). i have the same camera and if i remember correctly, the manufacturer says: 1280x960 (interpolated). probably this just means, that the cam delivers 640x480, but the software that is shipped with the cam does blow it up to 1280x960. please correct, if i am wrong.
