I am working on some scheme designs and would like to access the page number for use in html links to images. I would like to have each page as it is created get assigned a different image to show at the top of the page. I'll prepare a folder ahead of time with a batch of images (1.jpeg, 2.jpeg, 3.jpeg, . . . .). Can anyone share with me how to write the code in html to access the page number from the server so I can assign these images?

I found a script that works with php, but it does a random image each time, which is interesting, but not what i'd like to do here.

While we're at it i'm also interested in getting the book name as well. I have a design that accesses a logo image that the user can upload to the attachments folder, but I need to get the book name to get to the correct directory.

I am not a programmer and don't quite understand how squeak works though i've been using the swiki for over 5 years. Please keep that in mind in any response.

I'd be glad to share some schemes.
