Wayne:
You have to download and install bjam *and* boost 1.38. You use bjam to
build the boost libraries (boost.org will point you to the downloads).
Note that this will take a while. On my system, the boost libraries take
up about 5 GB. You Also didn't say if you are on a 64 bit or 32-bit
system. 64-bit is somewhat trickier than 32-bit Windows XP.

I tried using the regular instructions for installing on XP 32-bit using Visual
Studio 2008, but that didn't work so I tried using the Alternative on January
2010 instructions, however I'm still a little confused.? Where and how do I
compile Boost v1.38?? I looked at the index.html file but it didn't seem to
help.
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated!
