Hi,

If you use the pydev package explorer, it should be hidden by default (and in
the menu dropdown > customize view, you can select other predefined things to
be hidden and if it's not there, you can also use the menu dropdown > custom
filters to add other filters).

Now, if you want to use it in the default resource navigator (which is not 
python
aware), you have to create your own plugin or extend one that already exists
to add an extension point for that... as explained
