i dont know if its coincidental but i just updated to 1.4.4.2636
now when i run the debugger it no longer recognises my main module as the main
module. ie.
if __name__ == '__main__':
main()
else:
print __name__
will print the name of the module NOT run the main function
it would seem that "runfiles.py" is now the main module
