Hi,

I'm trying to learn how to debug Python scripts using Eclipse and PyDev. I've
come across something I just don't understand so I thought I'd post here.

In my code, I have

    tmplt = 'mytemplate_file'
    f = open(tmplt, 'r+')

when I execute the open() statement in the IDE, I get the error:

    IOError: [Errorno 2] No such file or directory: 'mytemplate_file'

However, if I drop to the command line and run

    python myprogram.py

mytemplate_file is found, opened and read.

Where should I be looking to solve this problem?
