Just FYI, I tried it, on win XP sp3, with a handful of games and bugdemos for 1.7 - 1.8 , seems to run fine. The only complain was in one game, about unable to load pygame.surfarray ( but this is a fresh python 2.6 + pygame installation, without any extra modules ) -- claxo
