Hello there.Try installing pyorbit (http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/pyorbit/1.99/), then rebuilding gnome-python. A fair number of gnome libraries require that the CORBA bindings exist.
I got a problem on a Slackware 8.1 box with dropline
GNOME
I use Python 2.2 with pygtk and python gnome.
The problem is that i cant load the module gnome.ui in
any manner i can figure.
The problem is that uimodule.la does not exist in the
system.
So i downloaded the tarball (13 and 14) and compile
it.
And none of these releases installed (or even compiled
) uimodule on my system.
What can i do to make it work?
James.
