I'm curious if you finally managed to get this to work ?

I see further along in comments, P-Elsie, writes on July 15 they had 
dependency problems and to solve they used python 2.7. PyInstaller worked 
as expected with older version of python. 

I'm wondering if I should install python 2.7?
