For the record, 64 bit Debian packages are built on alpha and ia64 (I believe the other architectures are currently 32bit) and the test suite passes at least. I've had a few bug reports from an alpha user (Helge Kreutzmann), though, but they are quite minor (see http://bugs.debian.org/pymol). cheers, Michael
