Notably, the wonderful Pyro :-) > For things like bsddb I think the argument of release cycles is > stronger. I'm very sorry also of the maintainer support of it: he is slow and doesn't implement python bindings for berkeleydb features deployed five years ago :-(. Could be a bit rude, but maybe a maintaner change would be in order. I would rather prefer to talk to current maintainer, but I rather apply for maintaner position than dropping bsddb from the python stdlib!!. - -- Jesus Cea Avion _/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/_/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.argo.es/~jcea/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ jabber / xmpp:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _/_/ _/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "Things are not so easy" _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "My name is Dump, Core Dump" _/_/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "El amor es poner tu felicidad en la felicidad de otro" - Leibniz -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBR4YVJ5lgi5GaxT1NAQIwqQP+L8lUsU4O2NxykHVLIuONjwqGFfE7+La6 01eKXft06L6sHTJ11qZq2XN9vltrXv39W4DH8Ak+yOD7fJANfTPc2XvYNt2vyiQh 4Hqa5/V8FjErlpebO3/b0ostPNfd422Oijtv5pc8xZqlQX4o9gBL2aNqCKbmLPPI ht/Ei8MBgfA= =yQak -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Python-3000 mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-3000 Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-3000/archive%40mail-archive.com
