I have altered q40_hwinit_asm to cut out reference to the Q40's non- existent PCR register. The resultant rom works with the Q40. However, the fault introduced in version 3.10 is still there and I have to issue RESET when the software fails to recognise the hard disk. I suppose I will have to do more investigating.
