Oct 4 or 11 is fine for me, but I will adapt.

One of our considerations is that Edinburgh is a tourist destination. If we hold

October might be possible,
I had a discussion with my family this morning. We could imagine spending
our autumn vacation in Scotland. Perfect dates for the QLis30 show would
then be Sat Oct 4 (favourite) and Sat Oct 11 2014.

I really hope that a QLis30 show will happen this year.

QL forever!

Very best,

Thanks for this message. I was about to write another update.

We had decided that the best dates would be either 18th or 25th October. We were uncertain about 4th October because 3rd October is a public holiday in Germany. We were uncertain whether the Germans would want the event on a public holiday weekend. For a similar reason we thought it better not to go for 11th October.

However from private emails there may just be a consensus for early October. Could people indicate - including those who have sent their preferences - if they would prefer either 4th or 11 October rather than 18th or 25th?

This is urgent as George Gwilt wants to book the venue next week. (Obviously there could be a problem if the venue already has bookking for the possible dates),

Best wishes,

Geoff
