That was my second choice. That was the solution I used with my Spectrum 
too... Just trying to avoid it for now...
Anyway the QL will not be in it's proper case for long as once I am done 
copying the microdrive cartridges, I will remove the board and replace it 
with SGC/QubIDE/Aurora
