Hmmm... well, I think that's actually a bit of a departure from my motivation,
but I see where you're coming from.

I gather that you would like to completely replace the psender functionality
(or create another option that is mutually exclusive to psender) with the
ability to return a 550 and a customer error message.

Similarly, I want another option that is mutually exclusive to psender, but
that ADDS to psender's existing functionality. I want to return a 550 for
actual detected (via ClamAV or whatever, including perlscan_scanner) viruses,
but still generate a traditional perlscan_scanner bounce message if the message
is blocked by perlscan_scanner.

I'm only interested in preventing collateral damage from false positives. I
really like the verbose notifications generated by perlscan_scanner, and I'd
like to continue using them. I just want my users to know IMMEDIATELY when
their email has been rejected.
