You mean you apply the padding to the parent object? I am not sure if I
understand your problem.

the padding only occurs to the left, on the top and the bottom, but not
to the right. I think it should!!! For me it seems to be a bug. The
layout should subtract the 5 pixels as they are the padding also to the
right.
