Hi list,
I'm quite new to Qooxdoo but I'm trying hard...
I was wondering if there was some best practice for dynamically resizing
icons for Atom based components, windows captions, and so on. For
instance, I have a remote bank of single sized images that I access
through http and I would like to re-size them according to the component
they will be used as icon for.
As of now, I found a quick solution that queries the component for its
inner Image component and size it, e.g. :

      button.getChildControl("icon").set({
        scale : true,
        width : 16,
        height : 16
      });

Reading the doc, the getChildControl method should rather be used by the
component itself and I understand that it somehow breaks encapsulation
to use it from outside. Is there a cleaner way of achieving this ?

Thanks,
Vincent
