You can pass a tablePaneHeader key to the call to new
qx.ui.treevirtual.TreeVirtual, like so:

tree = new qx.ui.treevirtual.TreeVirtual("Tree", { tablePaneHeader: function
(obj) { return new your_header_class(obj); });

That's what I do, at least.
