Is there any way to force the calendar in a datefield to popup under program control. I am implementing an application which has to run on various types of platforms including ones with only a keyboard and possibly no Alt key. I tried adding a keypress listener on the field and capturing only the down-arrow but I don't know if it is possible to set the Alt key before processing continues; or if this is considered a kludge.
