In the data binding chapter in the manual it is recommended to use stores to retrieve the data. However, in the communication chapter there are no instructions for setting up a json service for use with the json store. On the other hand, there are instructions for setting up an rpc server, including a nice implementation with error handling and such.
So the communication chapter implies that the way to go is rpc, while the data binding chapter recommends stores. I think that is a bit inconsistent. What are the benefits of the stores versus the rpc approach? -- View this message in context: http://qooxdoo.678.n2.nabble.com/JSON-store-or-rpc-tp5564779p5569632.html Sent from the qooxdoo mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances and start using them to simplify application deployment and accelerate your shift to cloud computing. http://p.sf.net/sfu/novell-sfdev2dev _______________________________________________ qooxdoo-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/qooxdoo-devel
