I did a test towards the end of last year on using CSS fonts within qooxdoo and the test was a quick and easy test that showed me that it was possible to load a font via the @font-face CSS style. I was able to use a bizarre font and it worked fine. But now that I have updated to the latest version of qooxdoo, I think I was using .8.3 for my earlier test, the font loads (I can see it in the NET tab of firebug) but the text on the screen does not get the font applied. Has anyone else used dynamically loaded fonts for their projects with success? We can't require that our users install the font into their system before using our application, that is why I was using the dynamic way of using CSS to load the font.
