Good discussion!
We are running a big project and we have got a lot of experience of qx during
the time of development.
I think it is easy and unavoidable to become "religious" about your own "baby".
But we do think that qx should stay low in the mentioned subjects until time
will tell what direction "fashion" goes. One exception might be mobile apps. It
would be very difficult to push the front at the moment with a small user base.
Additionally, we do believe that the existing balance, in most cases, between
design opportunities have been selected by qx team in a sensible and wise way.
Else it is easy to get blended by "fashion".
Stay observing and wait and see! Boring but necessary....
I guess there are more important issues to handle at the moment; stability,
integration, usability, performance and memory consumption. Mentioning this
does not mean it is not good. It is just that it always can become better.
