Yes, waiting makes sense! JS Harmony will probably have modules [1], 
inheritance will probably be improved, etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if JS moved 
away from prototypal inheritance and towards Java-style classes. This is a bit 
of a shame because prototypal does not necessarily prevent static features [2], 
but it is what most people are familiar with.

A reverse example is layout where Qooxdoo is currently ahead of most of the 
competition (Dojo, jQuery, ...), but that could change if better GUI layout 
makes it into CSS [3].
